i decided not to grow-up on my music ages ago...
listening to the same old stuff just doesn't bother me. all i do is burn the cds for my car with the same old songs, with a few additions from here and there. but majorly those 50-60 odd songs just don't go away...
i decide yet again to sit back and analyze and find out the reason.... my taste according to general opinion is good. then is it that i do not adapt to new stuff??? no, i like all the new stuff that plays around me. then????????
i guess, it's like the same thing that i have for my car. i might take my buddy's car for a tester, but @ the end of the day, i just want to drive my babe back home.
i guess i'll make a good husband (can't say a boyfriend, 'coz i don't even remember the number of times i have screwed up on relationships *devilish grin* hehehe).
coming back to my music... i just don't graduate. to throw some light and flaunt my taste... in rising order of my liking...

the feeling that has struck you is a very intrinsic one...
its something like...while we grow up...all that we soak up ...love for some songs...or movies...or places...during that time...simply gets embedded in our hormones/dna...and so, we tend to re live those moments when we listen to the song again...see the movie again..
and love it all the more...not just for our first love of it...but even the grown love..
@goddess: i agree to that. i feel that this is exactly the kind of stuff that tells us not to grow up!!!
You know, I am still to find somebody who doesnt listen to those songs... The ones listed here are iconic... and probably represent the artist/band in the best way possible... umm... not 'more than words' though... that song was the Neo for that band!
And thanks for visitng my blog... Am glad you liked it...
@shivangi: my perception is a bit different... maybe even you like these numbers for sure... they are definitely iconic. i know people who listen to a lot of good stuff but not these. ahhhh anyways.....
yah, your blog was fun.
baout "more than words"... i give two hoots to extreme. my girlfriend used to sing it to me over the phone when we couldn't meet. she had an excellent voice. *nostalgia*
PS: she is not dead. the love is!!!
