i am tired

yet another busy weekend !!!
after my last post, i had to go again and catch up with my buddy. he is badly jet-lagged. so basically he wanted to kill my peace for it. dude wanted me to come over to his place. he cannot drive in delhi. that would be too soon. so i reached his house at 7pm something. we had a hearty chat. discussing everything from the united states to butter kaathi rolls. he wanted to go out and have some fun.
we guys met anu and isha outside the imperial. they had been covering some stuff that i am totally unaware of. dropped isha @ khan market before heading off to pandara for yet another deadly mughlai meal. i do not intend to discuss the menu at all. i might just end throwing up.

we had to drop chandan to his house at about 1am. it was his birthday. in fact it is his birthday today. happy birthday big boy. you are 25, and you suck :)

dropped anu at 1:30 am and was back just before 2. i just love these late night drives, all alone. zipping at 80 odd km/hour, windows rolled down. it's a bliss.

slept @ 5am just to get up at noon exactly. ramneet called to go out and visit the gurudwara bangla sahib. i was game because what always follows this holy visit is great food @ CP. we decided to honor the "kake da dhaba" at the outer circle. chicken curry, rotiz and coke. under 200 bucks for 2 people. keeps me smiling. the place was really shady. a dhaba in the true sense. i say that because the only difference between a dhaba and a hotel is that the dhaba would always have it's kitchen (burners) at the entry whereas a restaurant would have the same tucked into it's backyard or the terrace. interesting...
after kaka we walked upto the roadside book store next to the pvr, just to find it closed. i wanted to pick up a copy of the train to pakistan and also a core java book by some cathy sierra chic.
found kushwant's masterpiece roadside for 40 bucks. amazing. got home and realized that it's a real cheap photocopy with fontsize requiring a high powered microscope with a 20x eyepiece.
but that doesn't stop me from reading it.

that's about it for the time being....
i intend to elaborate more on CP in the coming future ... i have been asked to jot down the 10 best time-killing spots @ CP. it should be nice.

by the way... Wish me luck one and all. i start off with my new job tomorrow. let's see ho things turn out to be. i am more worried about the women there ;)
