alas.... the wheel has started moving. i could anticipate it well enough. it has been quiet a day. firstly it was shopping being a free-loader.
picked up a black polo from lacoste with a white pair of socks. i know it's a bit weird but do not ask me how.
then it was my favourite mcChicken meal combo at mcDonalds. i have virtually been living on it for almost years now.
than after some fireworks i met my school best buddy. in fact just bumped into him @ neeti bagh. he was with simmi1. both of them make a beat pair but still.... we had a light chat when i realised that it was way beyond time to pick-up my engineering days best buddy and still from the airport. dude, was getting back from the states for his sisters wedding.
so then it was the real me in my best colors behind the wheels. south-ex to the igi airport in 20 minutes. ironically, he had just left with his folks 2 minutes before i reached. so finally i had to catch him @ vasant kunj outside the Grand. it was a hearty hug. he shifted to my car when we chatted away our woes of the last 12 months in not more than 12 minutes. i had to crib about quitting bombay and he had to tell me about his sexual frustration that directly arise from the fact when he hadn't touched a woman in ages now. i do not blame him at all...
so we finally reached his house and had dinner with his folks. i just couldn't say no to the biryani and the fruit cream that followed. that would have been sheer disrespect to what i live for. at about 3 am we guys moved to the coffee shop at the intercontinental. closest option looking at the fuel gauge in my car. cold coffee was my call and he asked for an espresso i guess... chatting went on till almost 6 am when i realised that i had to be home on time last night. shit happens.... all the time :) we moved out hunting for a shell gas station to get a re-fill done. this led us to the aiims crossing to find ourselves some coke. which again led us to take a leak outside the lsr gates on our way back. we sat @ the lsr gates till almost 8 when i thought that i should be back before the crazy Delhi traffic starts gettin' crazier on a saturday morning. got home and crashed like a dog.
and here i am....
just got up. trying to find some food. satisfy my gastric desires and get back to doing what i am good at. it's a saturday evening folks. i am not a party animal but then i feel one needs to move out of his/her shell atleast once over the weekends to let the minds breath.
rejuvenate... one and all !!!
